Unbeknownst to many, there has been word whispered around the news and entertainment industry for some years now, that staunch conservative Ann Coulter is dating actor Jimmie Walker [known by most for his role in Good Times]. As unbelievable as it may sound to Coulter's critics and Walker's fans, an industry heavyweight has cosigned the validity of the rumor, stating that he's "sat with them for an entire evening," and that they've been with each other "for some time."
During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly legendary television producer, Norm Lear confessed to knowing the deal. While discussing Walker, who acted for him, with Lear having created Good Times, Lear at one point veered off to say, "He's a wonderful guy, but I'll tell you something about him that'll astound you: He dates Ann Coulter."
"I am as serious as I can be, and I spent an evening at the same table with them, so I know," Lear continued in the interview. "As we're driving to the dinner, I said, 'Ann Coulter will be at the table.' [And my wife] said, 'I can't sit at the table with Ann Coulter, I will not sit at the table with Ann Coulter.' And Ann Coulter was a dreamy, delicious, sweet person." Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, who conducted the interview on behalf of EW apparently didn't believe what she was hearing, but Lear insisted that the unlikely match is indeed an item.
