Troy Ave to Drop New Album April 14th Called "NuPac"

Controversy seems to follow Troy Ave. During an interview with The Breakfast Club, the Brooklyn rapper raised quite a few eyebrows when he declared himself the second coming of west coast icon Tupac Shakur. "I go in the mothaf--kin' clubs and nigga goin' crazy," says Troy. "Oh sh-t, that's Troy Ave, nigga it's the second coming of 2Pac, it's NewPac."

Despite the heavy backlash that followed his declaration, Troy is sticking with it. Dope Boy Troy announced that he's dropping a "street album," Dope Boy Troy Vol. 2: NuPac on Friday, April 14. The artwork for the project shows what Troy believes to be similarities between the lives of him and the late Tupac.
