Embattled former Patriots player Aaron Hernandez was found not guilty of two charges murder. Two men were killed in a drive-by shooting outside of a Boston nightclub in 2012, and Hernandez was facing murder charges and a charge of witness intimidation after he allegedly shot a friend in the face and told him not to speak about the incident.

Hernandez was charged with illegal possession of a firearm in the case. The former Patriots player was previously sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole for his role in the death of Odin Lloyd.
