Funk Flex has had a lot to tell about what went down the night 2Pac got shot at Quad Recording Studios in 1994. He dropped a bombshell on Tuesday (May 2) when during and Instagram Live stream he claimed that 2Pac knew exactly who approached him, and that they were only going to rob him, but that Tupac pulled out his gun and subsequently wound up shooting himself before he was fired on four additional times.
Lil Cease would later post to social media to say that he never disrespected 2Pac, adding that he wasn't the voice off camera calling the late rapper "Cheddar Bob." Flex on the other hand, has continued to speak to people's curiosity about the infamous shooting, adding on Wednesday, May 3, that Tupac "got robbed cause he did the wrong NY cats dirty," and that "He was scared of them so he blamed Biggie!"
Flex suggested that as a relevant figure in the New York [and national] hip-hop scene. Those who shot 2Pac, Flex said, were of a clique that the rapper had been running with for some time, adding that they had in fact been the same guys involved with 2Pac in the alleged sexual assault in a hotel room the year prior. He then implied that out of fear of reprisal, 2Pac deflected from who the real perpetrators were by betraying his greater New York family and placing the blame on Junior Mafia and Bad Boy.
"Classic case of out of town n***a wanting to be accepted and got in too deep and couldn't dig his way out! You wanted the truth there it is!" he exclaimed.
