Rapper NBA Youngboy was released from a Lousiana jail after being incarcerated in December 2016. The rapper was previously hit with two charges of attempted first-degree murder. Now, rapper Boosie Badazz, a fellow Louisiana native, has decided to give some advice to the budding star. Via an Instagram post, Boosie said, "Welcome home @nba_youngboy [100 emoji] Leave Br asap." The advice telling NBA Youngboy to get out of Baton Rouge ASAP may seem out of nowhere, but Boosie's past gives him a good reason to offer that advice to a young man looking to change his life.
During an interview with VladTV, the rapper explained that he became a target of the court system in Louisiana due to his lifestyle and the things he spoke about. Boosie gave an example during the interview, saying, "I made songs about public officials and things like that. Those people don't forget that and I don't trust people like that. It's nothing for me to just be riding down the street and they just stop me and throw a gun in my car."
