Lil Yachty is currently buzzing hard with the Friday release of his debut album, Teenage Emotions. Genius recently sat down with the 19-year-old rhymer and had him run over some of the lyrics from the project.
There was one line in particular, from the album's lead single "Peek A Boo," that Yachty had a hard time explaining away:
"My new b***h yellow / She blow that d*** like a cello."
"Ok, let's stop for second," he said. "Before you come at me, I'ma let you know. I'ma blame my A&R. Because he listened to that song so many times and he allowed me to say that. I guess for a second, I thought a cello was a woodwind instrument and it is not..."
