Lil Yachty released his debut album Teenage Emotions to mixed reviews a couple of weeks ago, and the first week sales weren't as expected. The album debuted at the number five spot on the Billboard 200, with 46,000 units, which Yachty addressed on Instagram.

The Atlanta rapper told fans via Instagram, "I understand first week numbers didn't do what most people expected but that's only because they don't understand me. They don't understand us. I don't expect anybody to. I make it for those who listen. I feel like my brand is so big and blew up so big, it blew up bigger than my actual music."

Yachty went on to reveal that he's working on another ep, and added that he's preparing to start his "Teenage Tour."
