There are conflicting accounts about what actually happened at Clutch Bar in Dallas on Sunday night, July 16, and how involved Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was in the reported assault at all. But if one thing is for sure, it's that the man who did find himself on the receiving end of a knockout blow was sure to feel it in the morning.

TMZ was able to obtain a recording that captures the moments after the Clutch employee was laid out, according to some, by the hand of Elliott. No arrests were made at the bar and officials declared no suspects in the attack, but have continued to get the testimony of witnesses they've been able to verify were at Clutch on Sunday night.

The individual who supplied TMZ with the video claims that the victim had gotten into a verbal altercation with a woman who was in Elliott's company and implicates his involvement in the dust-up. And although the man admitted to being unaware of who attacked him, it has also been acknowledged that he was drunk when it happened. A friend of his, however, points to Elliott as the person who struck him down, according to TMZ's report. But according to a local bouncer, Michael Huffman of Wichita Falls, it was a man by the name of DJ d'Train who instigated the altercation, and it was the deejay, not the bouncer as some reports cite, who was hit.

The Star-Telegram (a Fort Worth publication) reports that they received a private message from Huffman, in which he attests to seeing the whole thing unfold. “Zeke was just standing there arms folded chilling feeling the crowd. Then I seen DJ getting loud toward the vicinity of Zeke and then I see an overhand right come over the back of Zeke shoulder that landed square in DTrain’s face and he went to sleep. He didn’t even see it. Then the crowd circled and dispersed. I’m surprised a whole video hasn’t been released yet,” Huffman says.

Dallas police reported that they returned to speak with Clutch employees but still have little clue as to whether or not Elliott was involved.
