Kim Kardashian made it clear a while back that she and Kanye West wanted to have one more child. Via her reality show, Kardashian noted that it would be risky for her to have another one, so her and West began the hunt for a surrogate. Now, Kardashian has reportedly found a surrogate. Kardashian and West chose a woman from San Diego who is in her late 20s. The woman is expecting to give birth in January 2018.
According to TMZ, the West family will pay $45,000 to the surrogate in 10 monthly installments of $4,500. This comes after the couple previously paid an initial deposit of $68,850 to the surrogate’s agency. Along with that, if the surrogate’s pregnancy produces more than one child, the young woman will receive an added $5,000 per child. The agreement between the West family and the surrogate also notes that the couple “assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child, that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects.”
