Recently, reports surfaced saying that Ric Flair was hospitalized while in Georgia. The legendary wrestler was put into a medically-induced coma after he experienced pain that was caused by the obstruction of his bowels. Since then, Flair was put on a kidney dialysis and had to have an external pacemaker inserted into his body.
Now, reports have surfaced saying Flair is “awake, communicating, and progressing.” According to tweets from Melinda Zanoni of Legacy Talent and Entertainment, “There are complications so [he] needs rest for the 1st time in 40 yrs.” She went on to say “He did cut a promo on a nurse yesterday so anyone that knows @RicFlairNatrBoy knows that’s a very, very good sign.”
Zanoni ended her update by saying “On behalf of @RicFlairNatrBoy THANK YOU 4 the outpouring of prayers & well wishes (altho the offers 4 a kidney seemed a little excessive :) The man outlived a plane crash & being struck by lightning, he is a survivor. Grateful 4 all the love & respect sent.”
