This past weekend, rapper Mystikal was charged with first-degree rape. Because of that, a warrant was issued for his arrest. The Shreveport Police Department was on the hunt for Mystikal, along with a man named Averweone Holman, who cops believed was a part of the crime as well. U.S. Marshals ended up tracking down and arresting Holman in Texas this past Friday. Investigators on the scene noted that they collected evidence that matches the DNA of Mystikal, along with Holman.
Now, news has arrived that Mystikal has turned himself into the Caddo Parrish Sheriff’s Department in Louisiana. The warrant for the arrest allegedly comes from a 2016 incident at a Louisiana casino where Mystikal was supposedly set to perform. No more details beyond that have been provided, and according to Mystikal’s team, the charges and allegations are false. Currently, Mystikal’s bond is $2 million.
