Young rapper Tay-K has a viral hit in the form of “The Race,” which has spawned many remixes from artists like Lil Yachty and more. However, the 17-year-old rapper was on the run for an alleged murder when he released the video for the track, which led to U.S. Marshals tracking him down in New Jersey and arresting him.
Tay-K is facing capital murder charges, but now his lawyer has come out and said that he is confident charges against his client will be dropped once new evidence is revealed to the jury. According to reports, a preliminary certification is set to take place to determine the 17-year-old’s status as a juvenile or adult. The certification is supposed to be taking place on Wednesday, and Tay-K’s lawyer believes the charges against him will be dropped once they go to trial.
