It's safe to say that the Bronx-born rapper has had an amazing 2017, appearing at the major events across the country, and rightfully so. In addition to her smash single "Bodak Yellow" going gold recently, today it was announced the smash single is now the most streamed song in the country. Always honest about her humble beginnings, Cardi B ascended from gentleman's clubs and reality TV to rap stardom.
Cardi beat out the likes of Lil Uzi, Travis Scott and 21 Savage for the top spot but it should be mentioned that most of the songs in the top categories are hip-hop oriented. Salute to Cardi and all the artists winning.
