JAY-Z headlined the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York City with his set Friday night. During his 90-minute performance that included a host of Hov hits ranging from tracks such as "Run This Town", "PSA", "BAM", and "The Story of O.J." The hip-hop legend took the opportunity to display an act of solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and his current stance on social injustice. Hov also chose to pay homage to the late comedian and activist, Dick Gregory who passed away last month. JAY-Z's dedication to these two figures can be seen as him bridging the gap between those of the Civil RIghts generation and those of the #BLACKLIVESMATTER generation.
