Legendary hip-hop figure RZA says that Kanye West may be cooking up music with a classic 90's sound following his past year of issues, including being hospitalized for a mental breakdown.

RZA dropped by Power 106 L.A. for a rare interview to promote the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan album; The Saga Continues, on Thursday, September 21. The mastermind behind countless Wu-tung classic records spoke on a broad range of topics from what he is watching and his diet to the recent sell of Wu-tang's one-of-kind album sold by Martin Shkreli on eBay.

"Well I'm trying to buy it, you know what I mean. I got legal parameters stopping me, but I'm trying to figure out a way around it," RZA said after being on asked his thoughts on the sell. While reports have surfaced that the album sold for a little over $1 Million, RZA maintains that he may still get his hand on the album.

At the 26 minute mark, the Staten Island native mentioned that he recently had a conversation with Kanye. “We actually had a great conversation recently, not even ten days ago. He’s in a great place y’all. I didn’t hear no new music." Rza said before dropping a revelation to the potential direction of Kayne's new music.

"What I did see was he had two ASRs in the studio, not one." When asked what the importance of the particular music equipment was, RZA said, "The ASR is like an official ’90s hip-hop producing machine. It has a certain sound, certain sonic, and he had two of them set up in the studio, so he’s about to get busy.”
