2017 has become the year of denying that the earth is round. Despite the prospect of being ridiculed by the general public, many celebs have given their reasoning as to why they believe the earth is flat-most notably, Kyrie Irving. However, now it seems rapper B.o.B, a longtime believer in the flat earth theory, has taken an additional step in the crusade to prove his belief by creating a Gofundme campaign.
"I'm starting this Gofundme because I would like to one if not multiple satellites as far into space as I can or into orbit as I can to find the curve." B.o.B said in a video revealing his plans for the money. B.o.B initially set the goal $500,000 but adjusted the amount to $200,000.
Back in 2016, B.o.B caught major flack after declaring the earth flat on Twitter, including Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who debunked his theory soon after that. While B.oB remains hopeful he can finally find the truth, it seems many are not so willing to part with money to prove this theory, as the GoFundMe movement currently has only gained $125 toward his goal.
