In what reports are now calling the worst mass shooting in American history, a single gunman began to open fire with automatic weapons at fans who were attending an outdoor music festival. The gunman who is now identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada was positioned on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel as he began his killing spree. At this time more than 50 people are confirmed dead and over 200 people have been injured.
Police located the room where Paddock was located in and used explosives to enter and kill him. Multiple off-duty police are dead or injured. No motive is currently known behind this horrific shooting. We will keep you updated as the story develops.
