On October 5th, PARTYNEXTDOOR was arrested for drug possession. But today he is a free man.
The singer/songwriter responded to the charges with an Instagram post saying, "The only chains on these wrists have diamonds on them" as he posed flexing a diamond-studded watch. The post has since been deleted.
PARTYNEXTDOOR, whose real name is Jahron Brathwaite, was allegedly in possession of Xanax and Oxycodone, according to U.S. Customs and Border personnel and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was traveling from Canada into the United States. Kyler Jenner's alleged ex wasn't the only one on his team to be charged that day. His friend Jerome Nevins was also charged with possession of Xanax.
But that won't stop PND from continuing his tour. In the Instagram post he also stated, "Boston was fun tonight, on my way to Philly. #PositivityTourWontStop.” He is scheduled to perform in the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia this Saturday off the success of his recent EP, Seven Days and his recent song titled, "Own Up To Your Sh*t."
This isn't the only news PND is involved in. He currently has beef with former One Direction member Zayn Malik which resulted in his deleting all of Malik's remixes from his YouTube and Spotify playlists.
