Birdman wants people to "mind their business" and stop discussing him paying Lil Wayne. In a video clip, the rapper is seen riding around in a vehicle and suddenly stops the music in the background. Shortly after the music pauses, Birdman begins a brief rant, expressing that he brought Lil Wayne in the game and will always make he's good. "Lil Wayne my son, I raised him", said Birdman. Birdman ends the clip by telling off the haters and calling himself "a mastermind".
Last year, Birdman and Lil Wayne called off a $51M lawsuit settlement. Alleged money issues with Lil Wayne, Birdman and Cash Money date back as early as 2014 when Lil Wayne addressed the delays on his 11th studio album Tha Carter V. Wayne told fans that the album may not be released due to Birdman and the label. Lil Wayne also bashed the label at a performance last year in Phoenix, Arizona where he encouraged the crowd to chant "F*** Cash Money". Wayne also announced on the stage that he has two more albums on the way.
Fast forward to today, Tha Carter V has still not yet been released.
