The storm in Puerto Rico that has devastated the island and left droves of people without access to food, clean water, and electricity is a human tragedy. But the current administration has been under fire for their tepid response to the crisis which included back-and-forth remarks between the mayor of San Juan and President Trump himself. Many have lambasted the president for his lack of urgency and apathetic tone toward the situation but according to Trump, he believes he's done one hell-of-a-job.

When asked about how he would rate his response to the devastation in Puerto Rico, Trump replied, "I would give myself a 10." He continued, "I think we’ve done a really great job and we’ve had tremendous cooperation from the governor and we are getting there and people are really seeing the effort that’s been put into Puerto Rico." Trump claims he's posted a 10/10 performance but 80% of the island is still without power and clean water.

A CNN poll released earlier this week noted that Trump's approval rating for the federal government's response to natural disasters dropped 20 points after Hurricane Maria.
