Tyrese and his ex-wife Norma Gibson spent Thursday in court while she fought to get a permanent restraining order to keep him away from her and the former couple's 10-year-old daughter Shayla. At one point, she made the claim that Tyrese hired someone to tail Norma and her friends.
According to Norma, Tyrese has been coming for her since 2014 by having someone follow her and her pals.
Norma also said that "at times" she's been afraid of Tyrese, bringing up an incident from 2007 when he allegedly punched her while she was pregnant. She went on to claim that she was approached by some of his people after the incident and pressured to sign an agreement not to talk about it. She says she agreed because she didn't want to harm his career at the time.
TMZ reports that during Thursday's cross-examination, Tyrese's lawyer suggested that he believed Norma was dating a drug addict, which is why Tyrese hired someone to follow her at that time.
Tyrese said the restraining order was filed by Norma because she was resentful that he remarried. He went on to claim that he hasn't seen his daughter in over 60 days, and just wants this to resolved so he can see her.
