For those of you of out the loop, Offset proposed to his girlfriend Cardi B while on stage during a concert on Friday. The Bronx rapper was beaming with joy by the surprise proposal and the 8-carat diamond engagement ring she received from her rapper boyfriend. However, it appears TV networks are already lining up to host the wedding of the young couple.
The saga started when The Shade Room posted a screencap on Instagram of a Twitter user who came up with a witty title for a series involving the nuptials of the happy couple. “"Offset and Cardi B just got engaged. On God, if they don't have a tv special for the wedding and call it "Never Let Migo," Ima be pissed."
BET’s official account replied to the post saying, #WeGotYou when you ready”, tagging both Offset and Cardi B. The offer from BET sounds appealing considering that the network just recently aired the lavish wedding of Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir.
However, BET is not the only player in Hollywood who wants to put on the wedding production. Monami Entertainment CEO and Love and Hip Hop producer Mona Scott threw her name in the running. "Love ya BET but #WeGotThis," Scott responded. "#AnotherCheckFromMonaScott @VH1 #4Evah." Scott may be ahead of the game as Cardi B was a cast member on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.
