Amid the cascade of allegations against Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Weinstein, there have been droves of women and some men coming forward to out other Hollywood notables. Kevin Spacey and Jeremy Piven are two of the latest actors to be accused of sexual harassment. In the case of Kevin Spacey, Netflix pulled the plug on his hit show House of Cards following the revelation of his actions.

But as these allegations against entertainment figures grow, the person that has suffered the hardest fall from grace is still Harvey Weinstein, and after Tuesday matters may have gotten worse. It was announced on Tuesday by the Beverly Hills Police Department that they would be launching a criminal investigation over the allegations held against Weinstein. Writer-director James Toback will also be investigated on similar grounds of sexual assault and harassment. The BHPD said Tuesday that they've received "multiple complaints" concerning Weinstein and Toback. Authorities did not disclose what exactly those "complaints" entailed, nevertheless the complaints prompted them to launch an investigation into the matter.
