"Boardwalk Empire" actress Paz de la Huerta came forward this week to claim that Harvey Weinstein raped her twice in 2010, and the NYPD reveals that her claims are credible. According to the Washington Post, the NYPD is gathering information to make an arrest warrant in the case.

Robert Boyce, chief of detectives for the New York City Police Department, revealed in a press briefing, “We have an actual case here." It was also revealed that Paz de la Huerta went to the NYPD with her rape claims on October 25, a week before she recounted the "traumatizing" event to Vanity Fair on Wednesday (November 1).

Robert Boyce added that the actress was able to give credible information about the case, including how they met and where she was when she was raped. He added, “She put forth a credible and detailed narrative to us. We then sought to garner corroboration. This happened seven years ago. And we found corroboration along the way.”
