Today, Eminem dropped a collaboration with Beyonce titled "Walk On Water." The song is the first sample from his upcoming LP Revival. The cover art is quite interesting, showing a crowd of people both above and below water.
Beyonce calmly sings: “I walk on water, but I ain’t no Jesus/ I walk on water, but only when it freezes" while Eminem pours out his emotions. The theme of the record is about being human, rather than being perfect.
Eminem raps:
"Kids look to me like as a god, this is retarded/ If only they knew, it’s a facade and it's exhaustive / And I try to not listen to nonsense/ But if you bitches are trying to strip me of my confidence / Mission accomplished / I’m not God-sent/Nas, Rakim, Pac, B.I.G., James Todd Smith, and I'm not Prince, so…"
Previously, the rapper teased the track and his forthcoming album with a fake medical infomercial for the drug "Revival".
Fans of Eminem are looking forward to his performance on Saturday Night Live November 18. Listen to the new song above, and let us know what you think!
