Some in the hip-hop community thought Birdman was shoving his money in Lil Wayne's face when he recently posted an image of a Louis Vuitton toilet on Instagram and tagged the rapper in a caption that read, "10 bathrooms so I can s**t all day." But others who came across the photo simply thought it to be an awesome toilet.

To the art world, the visual is of Illma Gore's latest work "The Loo-uis Vuitton Toilet," which is a play on words that incorporates the British slang term for a toilet (the loo) and the classic French high-end fashion brand name. Gore crafted the luxurious toilet design out of 24 Louis bags totaling a value of $15,000, and a $3,000 LV suitcase. Three months after starting on the project, Gore put it on the market for $100,000 at the Californian Tradesy showroom.

“I personally love the idea of what it felt like to cut up a $2000 bag. And the urge to destroy is just the same as a creative urge," Gore told Luxury Launches about creating the gold-plated and brown leather John. "And when Tradesy came to me with this idea of, you know, hey would you want to make art pieces, I mean I couldn’t say no to that,” she said.
