The holidays are quickly approaching and as we all know, that means new holiday music will be dropping. Which brings us to some good news: Chance the Rapper & Jeremih are making a Christmas album!
During an interview with Rap-Up, producer Bongo ByTheWay revealed that Chance and Jeremih were working on the Xmas album.
“We’re literally still putting it together,” Bongo said. “It’s gonna be one of those [where] everything is gonna come together super fast.”
Last year, Chance and Jeremih teamed up to put together the holiday mixtape, Merry Christmas Lil Mama. The project consisted of nine tracks and featured production by Zaytoven, C-Sick, Bongo ByTheWay and more.
According to Bongo, this new Christmas project will consist of a mix of original songs and remakes.
“It’s gonna be a little bit of both, but pretty much, it’s gonna be a completion of that project,” he said. “We just put it out for the culture, for the fans and stuff. Now, we’re really finishing it up and we’re gonna put it outright. It’s gonna have new music. It’s gonna be mixed and mastered and everything.”
Looks like it'll be a busy holiday season for Chance as he's hosting SNL on November 18th with musical guest, Eminem.
