When Mase dropped "The Oracle" early Friday morning, the internet was taken aback by the hard-hitting bars and accusations. Take, for instance, when Mase spits, "Tax know you as the nigga that snitched on the Roc, D.C. Crips only know you that nigga they shot," or even "Since age 10 you been a thirsty nigga, I ain’t gonna talk about the time you fucked your sister." But apparently, the track can be directly attributed to some of the shots Cam took at Mase on his latest project, The Program.
On the mixtape's opening track "It's Killa" Cam recalls a story in the opening verse where he says:
Then Ma$e called, said "Yo, I'm stuck inside some bitches house"
Her boyfriend at the door, could I hurry up and get him out
Aight, what's the address? Homie said "Kingsbridge"
That was great I had some niggas right on Bainbridge
Yeah, we play but believe it ain't no game kid
Hopped off the elevator, aimed it at that lame lid
I ain't give a damn, yeah Cam I was gung-ho
Got this nigga home and he passed me a hundo ($100 dollars?!)
Told him straight up I ain't feeling him
Let me curve this nigga 'fore I end up killing him
This is seemingly the spark that ignited Mase to respond and with Cam'ron offering fans a snippet of his track it's going to be interesting to see who comes out on top in this installment of their feud.
Take a listen to "It's Killa" above if you haven't already.
