Lil Uzi Vert is full of surprises. From his eclectic style to his outspoken lyrics, he certainly fills his role of "entertainer". Perhaps his most recent move will be to host a feature for someone unexpected - like up-and-coming, 12-year-old rapper Matt Ox.
In a video posted to Instagram on December 7, Matt Ox is seen rapping (freestyling?) with the XO TOUR Llif3 rapper in a studio, with several entourage members sitting down in the background. As the budding young rapper flows over a trap beat, Uzi shows off his chains and encourages the young Matt Ox. The lyrics seem to fit Uzi's style, with Ox rapping something along the lines of, "I got diamonds on my wrist and they glow too". There's no word on what the track is or when it is to be released, but it wouldn't be far-fetched to say that there is a collaboration in the works.
The Philadelphia rapper first rose to prominence with "Overwhelming" back in May of this year. The video for the song went viral for the fact that Ox looks like the middle schooler he is, and features fidget spinners and street-oriented lyrics that no one would expect from such a small person.
