While many believe that the Mase and Cam'ron beef is done, at least in terms of exchanging diss records. Nevertheless, the intra-Harlem warfare is still a topic of debate and hip-hop legend Fat Joe who recently stopped by Complex's Everyday Struggle gave his take on the matter. Fat Joe stated plainly, "Mase ain't nothing to be f**ked with" after bringing up the fact that Mase is one of Eminem's and Kanye's favorite rappers. He went on to say that Dipset and even himself have been guilty of "playing around" with Mase.
Mase has been the butt of many jokes within hip-hop circles and is a polarizing figure to many due to his perceived indecisiveness of living life as a pastor or as a rapper. But Fat Joe was taken aback when hearing Mase spit the way he did on "The Oracle" considering how Mase's time away from music could have been detrimental to his timing and flow. Joe pointed out that rappers usually spit off beat the older they get but he was thoroughly impressed by what Mase is still able to do.
