Previously, a video surfaced of a man kicking a 78-year-old woman in the face during a subway ride in New York City. Now, it has been reported that the man has been identified and charged with assault for the incident.
A 36-year-old man named Marc Gomez was apprehended by police and will be charged with second-degree assault, third-degree assault, and harassment.

A viral video of a man repeatedly kicking the face and body of a 78-year-old woman on the No. 2 train in the Bronx has led police to search for the man. While the video doesn't provide much context into the moments leading up to the attack, the people videotaping the assault got a clear view of the man's face.
Witnesses say the man started yelling at the woman after the train was stopped at Nereid Avenue, and then he started attacking her. After hitting the woman, who didn't fight back, the man turned to people taping the attack and stated, "WorldStar that, my ni**a."
