Over the weekend, Ezekiel Elliott was at an EDC music festival in Las Vegas, when the Cowboys' star running back was detained and handcuffed after a minor altercation with security.

In the video circulating online, Elliott is seen in the parking lot of the Electric Daisy Carnival with his girlfriend around 3 AM on Saturday morning (May 18), who he's seen arguing with as he attempts to block her from walking away.

Sometime later, the couple is seen talking to event staffers who were looking to intervene, when suddenly Zeke gets into one of their faces and says "You got something to say!?" From there, Zeke steps forward and appears to use his forearm to send the man falling backward into a metal gate, though based on the lack of force behind the apparent "shove," it's fair to wonder if that was Elliott's intent.

"I didn't do anything!" Zeke then immediately said with his hands up in the air, as security and Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. officers arrived to put him in handcuffs and escort him away from the scene.

With that said, Elliott's attorney, Frank Salzano, has noted that his client was released shortly after the video cuts off and was not formally arrested or charged with a crime, while Elliott has reportedly blamed the event security for "overreacting."

"Security misconstrued and overreacted to the situation," Salzano reiterated, "He was cuffed as a precautionary measure. He was released with no charges. He left Vegas that night and went to his [youth football camp in Dallas] on Sunday."

It should be noted that the NFL could still discipline Elliott if they believe he's violated the league's personal conduct policy, as they did in 2017 when he was given a six-game suspension over allegations of abusing his ex-girlfriend.
