Recently, news surfaced that actor Jason Mitchell—star of the Showtime series ‘The Chi’ was dropped from the show as well as by his management. Now, the alleged reason for the show and his management parting ways has been revealed, with sources saying that he repeatedly harassed Tiffany Boone, a co-star on ‘The Chi’ series.

Boone noted that she allegedly felt so unsafe being around Mitchell that her fiancé had to come on set when she shot scenes with her co-star. Other actresses on the show also said they had issues with Mitchell.

Jason Mitchell was dropped from Showtime's The Chi and the upcoming Netflix film Desperados following allegations of inappropriate behavior, according to Deadline. While the details of the allegations aren't known, Mitchell was also dropped by his agency, UTA and his management company, Authentic Talent & Literary Management. 

Deadline reports that Mitchell was first dropped from Desperados after producers learned of an off-set incident. He was then dropped from UTA and Authentic, and it was announced that he was being dropped from The Chi

Mitchell, who portrayed Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton, was investigated in 2016 after a woman claimed he bodyslammed her to the ground after she declined his advances.
