Update 05/24/2019 5:25pm:

According to reports, Harvey Weinstein has reached a $44 million settlement with women who have accused him of sexual misconduct.

Adam Harris, a lawyer for Weinstein Co. co-founder Bob Weinstein, told a bankruptcy court judge on Thursday (May 23) that "an economic agreement in principal" had been reached in the case. Wall Street Journal reporter Corinne Ramey explained to NPR, "That $44 million is not coming from Harvey Weinstein himself, it's actually coming from insurance policies."

The money will be divided with $30 million going to accusers and $14 million for Weinstein's associate's legal fees.

Weinstein is still facing a criminal case involving two accusers in New York, where the disgraced producer is facing rape and other charges.
