Previously, Anthony Davis named the Lakers as a “desired long-term” landing spot. Now, news has surfaced noting the Lakers have acquired Anthony Davis in a massive trade.
The Lakers are reportedly getting Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, an unprotected first-round pick in 2024, the No. 4 pick in 2019, the right to swap first-round picks in 2023 and 2025, and a top-8 protected first rounder in 2021.
Since then, LaVar Ball has responded to the trade, saying the Lakers will not win a championship.
