Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom many have been turning to for information regarding the coronavirus pandemic, shared his thoughts on Donald Trump contracting the virus during a recent interview with 60 Minutes.

When asked if he was surprised by the president testing positive for COVID-19, he responded, "Absolutely not." Fauci went on to address the Rose Garden event where Trump announced Judge Amy Coney Barrett as his choice to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.

He stated, "I was worried that he was going to get sick when I saw him in a completely precarious situation of crowded -- no separation between people, and almost nobody wearing a mask. When I saw that on TV, I said, 'Oh my goodness. Nothing good can come out of that, that's got to be a problem. And then sure enough, it turned out to be a superspreader event."
