Donald Trump shot back at Twitter when #DiaperDon started trending on Thursday (November 26) night after he repeatedly complained about perceived injustices during a news conference.

Trump sat at a small desk during the news conference, where he snapped at Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason for asking a follow-up question about Trump's claims of election fraud. Trump told Mason, "Don't talk to me that way. I'm the President of the United States. Don't ever talk to the president that way."

Shortly after, Twitter users began using the hashtag #DiaperDon, including Star Wars star Mark Hamill, who wrote, "Maybe if you behave yourself, stop lying to undermine a fair election & start thinking of what's good for the country instead of whining about how unfairly you are treated, you'll be invited to sit at the big boy's table #DiaperDon."

The hashtag became the #1 trending topic on Twitter, and Trump responded, stating, "Twitter is sending out totally false ‘Trends’ that have absolutely nothing to do with what is really trending in the world. They make it up, and only negative 'stuff.'" He then referenced a 1996 law that protects websites from lawsuits over content posted by users, writing, "For purposes of National Security, Section 230 must be immediately terminated!!!"
