Bobby Shmurda recently sat down with Maino for his first in-depth interview since his prison release earlier this year, and he opened up about why he took a plea deal so Rowdy Rebel would get less time.
Bobby explained that prosecutors were trying to give him a lot of time, adding that they told him, "We’re gonna give Rowdy 12 if you don’t cop out with him." Bobby added that he took the 7-year plea deal, and he revealed that he could've been home in 2017-18 if he didn't take the deal. Bobby then stated that he did it because in his crew, they "jump in front of bullets for ours."
