It seems like everybody has something to say about everybody else these days.  A$AP Rocky has worked hard to get to where he's at now, and yet there are still those who are not convinced that his music is genuine.  Southern producer Mike Dean is one of those people.

Just this past weekend, May 19th & 20th, Dean hit up his Twitter account to throw some subliminal shots at A$AP Rocky and his A$AP crew by pretty much saying that they are swagger jacking the Houston rapping sound in their music.

Dean tweeted:

"We need some new H TOWN RAPPERS to blow up. WHY THE F*CK THERE ALL THESE FAKE AS* HOUSTON KNOCK OFF ARTISTS FROM UP NORTH AND WEST ‪#GAY‬. I MEAN REP WHERE YOU ARE FROM NOT US."

A$AP's manager Yams, and fellow A$AP member, responded to Dean's hating tweets by defending his crew and their sound stating that, "THE NEW GENERATION IS A MELTING POT OF INFLUENCES FROM EVERY WHERE GET OFF THAT OLD HEAD SH*T."

The highly respected old school Houston rapper Bun B eventually stepped into the fire to try and put out the growing flames between the two, and asked Dean to chill out a bit and watch who he mentions on his Twitter.  He particularly asked him not to put his late friend Pimp C's name into any type of confrontational conversation with anyone else.

"You put in enough work in this game to feel how you wanna feel..that's on you..but keep Chad name out of it. All I ask," Bun tweeted.

A$AP Rocky was interviewed by MTV's RapFix Live recently, and he finally spoke up and shared his thoughts on Mike Dean randomly throwing shots at his crew and others from his region and the West coast as well.

"He was just talkin' subliminal about Northern people.  You gotta look at it like even Bun B embraces us, and we look up to him too. Not only that, it's love when we're out in the H-Town, and on top of that, he was bumpin' us. This Mike dude was bumpin' us before we got hot. Why stop now? Everybody else you around bumpin' us and soundin' like us."
