Since emerging onto the rap scene back in the early 2000s, 50 Cent has linked with rap veteran Eminem for several musical collaborations. The most recent was the song "My Life", which 50 recently debuted on a live taping of "The Voice". The joint effort shows that the two still have a strong bond and that type of cohesiveness may result in a collaborative EP between the two.

50 and Em sat down with MTV News to discuss the possibility of a joint effort, and the Queens rapper simply responded with "An EP maybe."

Kanye West's and Jay-Z's "Watch the Throne" album was brought up in the discussion and it was noted that they clashed a bit in the studio during the recording of the album. 50 says that's something you wouldn't see out of himself and Eminem if they were to embark on something of similar stature.

"I can't accept constructive criticism from someone if I'm not sure what their intentions are," 50 explained. "But when someone's been in my corner my entire musical career — I'll say this, Dre's done wonderful things for me in my career, but the idea of working with 50 Cent came from Eminem."

Eminem also shared his thoughts on the matter.

"I feel like I always wanna be there, just to executive produce or oversee things, but Fif knows what he's doing so I don't really gotta tell him much," Em said. "At this point in his career, he's done enough [so now] he just brings me the record and I kinda always wanna give my opinion."
