It would seem that music awards don't hold much weight in Nas' world. The Queensbridge emcee's latest LP, 'Life Is Good', copped a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album, but according to DJ Green Lantern, Nas' tour DJ, the Queensbridge emcee has zero interest in something so mainstream.
When Green Lantern called Nas to congratulate him on the Grammy nods the rapper said, "No, no Grammys for me. F**k the mainstream."
Nas was nominated for a total of four Grammys which are set to be presented at the 55th Grammy Awards in 2013.
