The upcoming film "Spring Breakers" had garnered plenty of attention before they even realeased a trailer. After casting Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens in uncharacteristically racy roles, having Gucci Mane make his film debut, and James Franco deciding to base his character off of zany rapper Riff Raff, the movie has already built up a following.

While it was rumored that the production wanted to cast Riff Raff himself for the role of drug dealer "Alien", Riff Raff reportedly refused the offer due to scheduling conflicts. The rest of the story goes that Franco decided to take over the role of "Alien" after becoming fascinated with Riff Raff. Gucci Mane says Riff Raff is lying, and Franco never based his character off of him.

"Truthfully he lying," Gucci told XXLmag.com. "I think Riff Raff's just trying to gain some attention. And I think maybe Franco may favor a little bit his appearance, but it don't have anything to do with the artist named Riff Raff. I know that for a fact."

Well, if true, that's quite disappointing. Regardless, Gucci is ready for his role as "Archie", which apparently wasn't that far of a stretch from his real life. "I'm a super bad guy in this role, you know what I'm saying?" said Gucci Mane. "It's like a role that was easy for me to play cause I'm just a street guy."
