Atlanta rapper Future plans to drop his second album "Future Hendrix" sometime this year. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Future neglected to speak on the album's collaborators, but discussed his inspirations for the album. As you might guess, legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix was among those inspirations.

"He was a gifted individual," said Future. "He just stayed who he was and eventually it paid off."

With Hendrix as his motivator, Future says he's in a whole new mindstate for this upcoming album.

"Everything about the music I want to be taking to the next level," he said. "It's got to be all the way right, because the quality of the music has to live up to my expectations."
