A couple of pics hit Instagram yesterday, Jan. 31, of DJ Whoo Kid getting arrested near the G-Unit offices in NYC. Fortunately, Whoo Kid was released early this morning after being detained for driving with a suspended license and outstanding traffic tickets.

The DJ and radio personality explained the situation to Hip-Hop Wired.

"I went to the G-Unit offices to have a meeting for some VH1 sh-t," he explains. "When I was leaving the meeting, I was on my way to interview A$AP Ferg [at Shade 45]. I had to go up 40th St and I'm getting the phone calls to make sure I'm getting to Shade. I looked at my phone to see who was calling me and a cop thought I was texting. So he pulled me over. It's the 31st [of January] so it's their quota. Once they saw I had nine suspensions, I had my boy from the office come take my car and that's when [the police] took me."

After being pulled over in the early afternoon, Whoo Kid was taken to the local precinct and then transferred to Central Booking, aka The Tombs. He says the arrest was very much real.

"I wish it was fake. I didn't want to go through that sh-t," he says, "First of all, ain't no NYPD cop taking photos of handcuffing mother-ckers for Instagram. They would get fired. Why would you assume that's fake?"

Whoo Kid said his time spent locked up was actually pretty pleasant.

"It was a rough and cool time," he says. "It's not like people was trying to f-ck with me. Everybody was happy I was in there; they couldn't believe that Whoo Kid was locked up with them."

He was released without being charged but has to go to the DMV to clear up any fines. He was also forced to cancel the interview with A$AP Ferg as well as an appearance on 106 & Park. Furthermore, Whoo Kid revealed that he wasn't able to use the bathroom during his 19-hour stint.

"I had to hold my sh-t for 19 hours," says Whoo Kid. "The first thing did when I got home was take a sh-t. If anything is real it's me rushing home to take a sh-t. I held it. I didn't eat nothing. That's the first thing Yayo told me. 'Don't eat kid, G-Unit.'"

"Other than that man, I'm just trying to stay out of jail for some bulls*it. I think I got street cred, yo. Come on 19 hours? 9 suspensions kid?"

Whoo Kid also sent a message to VladTV making light of the situation.

"Lol. 9 suspensions from driving 13 years with no license. Smh," he said in a Direct Message.
