This is really getting out of hand. A recent incident at a high school in Pennsylvania illuminates just how gripped by fear the country has become.

The incident occurred at Ambridge High School on Thursday when a medical receptionist called a 19-year-old student to remind him of his upcoming optometrist appt., but got his voicemail instead, according to the Beaver County Times.

The kid's voicemail just happened to have a "Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" theme which included the line, "shooting some b-ball outside of the school." The receptionist misinterpreted the line as, "shooting some PEOPLE outside of the school" and immediately called the police.

Cops quickly alerted the entire school district, which went straight into full lockdown.

The student -- who was at school -- was swarmed by police and taken in for questioning. After a few minutes, police were able to determine that the student was, in fact, rapping lines from "Fresh Prince" on his voicemail and he was released.

The district's superintendent released a statement following the mix-up, saying ""It gave us a wonderful chance to review our emergency procedures."
