Aspiring Virginia rapper Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin, 27, was deemed a danger to the public by Henrico Circuit Judge L.A. Harris Jr. after El-Amin attempted to kill a friend as a "sacrifice." Officers say that El-Amin and a friend were staying in a now-abandoned building, partaking in prolonged drug use during the attack.

El-Amin's friend claims he awoke to a gun in his face and El-Amin telling him, "You are my sacrifice." The man was able to block the shot with his hand, and grab the gun from El-Amin, shooting him in the stomach in retaliation. The victim has yet to be charged in the matter.

Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Thomas L. Johnson revealed that he would be researching more into hip-hop culture and the secret society called the Illuminati after El-Amin admitted to being obsessed with the subject.
