Marcus Vick, brother of Philadelphia Eagles baller Michael Vick, ruffled some feathers on Twitter when he posted a homophobic message about the Arizona Cardinals.
"Those Arizona Cardinals got a brunch of Fruit Tarts on there team..... Watch out for the pile on pumps this year!!!"
The tweet was picked up by several big media outlets, who focused on how the tweet could bring bad press back to his brother. Michael has been in good graces since his now infamous 2007 dog fighting incident, while Marcus hit a string of bad luck. He recently failed to appear for a court hearing over a 2008 lawsuit, where a judge awarded a woman $40,000, and a warrant was issued for Marcus' arrest.
Marcus commented on the uproar over his tweet, writing "It's real life tragedies going on in the world & y'all writing about tweets and twitter post in the paper. Whoa!!"
