Priority Records, the same record label that helped launch the careers of N.W.A., Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre, has been obsolete for some time now. Not to worry though, because the label is back.

According to Billboard, the label has been reinvented in a joint venture with Capitol Records and Insurgency Music. The new label will kick off on August 13 with the track "Higher," a collab between Just Blaze, Jay Z and EDM artist Baauer.

Impressive producer Harry Fraud, who has cooked up beats for Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and Wiz Khalifa, has also inked a deal with the label.

"For the label I am looking to create partnerships with other independent minded artists and release wavy music," tweeted Fraud. "It's not about signing people."
