Universal Music announced that some of hip hop's most seminal albums will be re-mastered and re-issued on vinyl as part of their "Respect The Classics" campaign.

50 Cent's Diamond-certified "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" will be the first album to drop when it receives a 10-year anniversary platinum vinyl edition on November 12. Other albums to get the treatment include Eminem's "The Slim Shady LP," Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter," DMX's "Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood," and several more.

According to the label, the aim of the campaign is to "spotlight iconic, genre-defining albums" from the catalogs of Def Jam, Interscope, Priority and Virgin Records.
