West Coast Hip Hop fans who picked up the latest Grand Theft Auto game might have been delighted to hear Tha Dogg Pound's "What Would You Do" blaring from the radio, but Dogg Pound member Daz Dillinger was not so excited.
"@DAZDILLINGER is lookn 4 a great lawyer who handles entertainment??? DM me ! i got a job for U a big case Daz Vs Grand Theft Auto 5?!" tweeted Daz, clearly surprised to hear his group's song in the game.
He went on, "@DAZDILLINGER Vs Grand Theft Auto! using my music wit out permission & noclearance what should i do y'all?"
It looks like Daz wants to sue GTA over their use of his record, but it will ultimately come down to who owns the rights to the track. Also, Twitter might not be the greatest place to solicit a top-notch lawyer.
